Another year has passed since that horrific day when we we're attacked and thousands of lives perished. I'm not one to have been fortunate enough to have done any fancy book learning stuff. And my take on things might be a little simplified too. All I know is that we haven't had another grand scale attack on the shores of America since. And perhaps I believe to strongly in American values to ever think that their was a conspericy from our own government to inflict pain and suffering against it's own citizens. Having served 10 years myself in the United States Army and have gone through the first Gulf War for a brief moment just to be shipped off to another foreign country. I strongly feel that we should have dealt with the problem in 1991 instead of having it come back and bite the American citizen in the ass while we were going through the daily tasks of just living here in America. It's funny how so many countries try to emulate our way of life while the few try to distroy us. Whether through religous or political propaganda one thing holds true. This is the greatest nation on Earth. Right, wrong or indifferent this country was built on christian beliefs and it should uphold them. Back to the point of this blog was for me to take my small section of the band wagon and to say God bless America and to the greatest military that has stood firm for a few hundred years protecting us from the outside and from the inside. Thank you to all of our first responders and heros who pledged to stand up for every citizen. I am reminded of the saying that still lingers and that heroic saying is, "Let's roll."
